Corporate’s Move to Consolidate Offices in Midrand
December 11, 2017

Two large new commercial developments being built in Midrand for over R1billion rand each.  Midrand is becoming a great location to house head offices as it sits between Joburg and Pretoria, having one single consolidated office.

“Having headquarters consolidate into one location has many advantages, as less space is required for the same number of employees, owing to the efficiency of new buildings. It also eliminates duplication of facilities and services, such as reception areas, canteens and boardrooms.  Further, it improves the culture of the company, as employees are located in a central workplace and Consolidation also cuts operational costs significantly.” Says Knight Frank Area Specialist, Elias Ngoma.

Construction has kicked off on Deloitte’s new Midrand headquarters, currently being built in the upmarket Waterfall Estate. The 42,500 square metre modern offices are expected to be completed in 2020, and Deloitte plans to begin operating from its new base from April 2020.
